Coronavirus (COVID-19) impact on World Vision operations
In support of public health recommendations outlined by the World Health Organization, some sponsorship program activities have been temporarily suspended due to COVID-19. Activities may include sponsor queries and correspondence, sponsor visits, gift notifications and gift deliveries. These temporary suspensions may affect the information you receive from us in the coming weeks and months.

While Mongolia is still known for its nomadic herding, its population has become increasingly urban as families seek job opportunities and better education for their children. Almost one quarter of the children in Mongolia live in poverty.
World Vision Mongolia works to protect children from violence and exploitation. We work with the poorest households in both rural and urban areas to diversify incomes, improve food security, educate children and prepare for frequent severely cold winters known as dzuds. Wherever possible, we work closely with the Mongolian government, community organizations and faith-based groups.
